The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) is the largest electric utility in Pakistan, providing power to more than four million customers in the Punjab Province. LESCO was established in 1952 as a wholly owned government enterprise. The company was privatized in 1992 and is now majority-owned by the Abraaj Group, a leading global private equity firm.

A LESCO service area includes the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity. 2013: The Abraaj Group sells its majority stake in LESCO to a consortium of Pakistani and Chinese investors
